Hi Yoon, Could you help to confirm the following questions? 1."model_name" in <hdmi_edid>. There is no "model_name" in EDID spec. Could TVS provide the mapping list for "manugcature id" and "model name"? If TVS can not provide the mapping list, we can only map "manufacture id" to the company who register the "manufcaturer id" from the list in https://uefi.org/pnp_id_list. Is this OK? (Please note the "GSM" will map to "GOLDSTAR COMPANY LTD" instead of "LG TV" in https://uefi.org/pnp_id_list) 2."codec" in <audio> Does TVS define the list of codec string for codec attribute in <audio> ? If not, we will use the current Amloigc defined codec string. For example,we will use "AC-3" instead of "AC3". 3."depth" in <color> Does "depth" only have the value 0 and 1? 0: Do not support depth color 1: Support depth color |

Hi Wong, I discussed with TVS. They said that it is come from TV. And what they need is hex part. 1. "model_name" in <hdmi_edid>. They don't care about manufacturer ID and Model Name. 2."codec" in <audio> They don't care about it. You can use as you want. 3."depth" in <color> They think that it has 0 ~ 6. I think that we would better to implement it first and the ask TVS to check it.. |

Hi Yoon, Thanks for your help. We now know the edid hex is the most important information which TVS wants. Regarding the 3. depth, We will implement it as EDID spec in Table 6-1 Color Depth value: 0: for no Color Depth 1~3: reserved 4: for 24 bits per pixel 5: for 30 bits per pixel 6: for 36 bits per pixel 7: for 48 bits per pixel Color_Depth_Value.jpg (88,792 bytes) |
